This is a wonderful traditional instrument that was hand crafted and hand tuned by a wonderful family of musicians from Ubud Bali. We buy these directly from them. Each bamboo slat sits upon a resonator crafted from a bamboo tube, this intensifies the sound which is sweet and melodious. The bamboo is left natural and decorated with a spiral design that is burned into the bamboo, the bamboo then coated with varnish. The bamboo is Includes two rubber mallets for you.
